Pregnancy Symptoms

Pregnancy Symptoms that needed to Counsel your Physician

When you're pregnant, you often have symptoms that are new to you or that you are uncomfortable, such as nausea or heartburn (heartburn). They are usually temporary discomfort, and are not cause for alarm. However, some symptoms may indicate a more serious problem and, if so, it is best to call your doctor or midwife immediately.

Here is a list of symptoms that justify the emergency call. If you are worried about any symptoms, but can not find on this list, call anyway because, as the saying goes, "Be prepared! Woman."

Note that some of these symptoms may be more or less urgent, depending on what stage of pregnancy you are and your medical history. Ask your doctor to check you symptoms that require urgent call him or that you go directly to the emergency room.

If you're in contact with someone who has the flu or yourself samples flu symptoms, call your doctor. Symptoms of flu include fever, sore throat, cough, runny or stuffy nose, fatigue, chills and muscle aches. Sometimes symptoms may also include vomiting or diarrhea.

Go to an emergency unit if you have shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, if you have chest pain or abdominal pain, abrupt blackout or confusion, astringent or assiduous airsickness , decreased fetal movement, or you accept aerial agitation admitting demography acetaminophen.

  • Exposure to an infectious disease such as chickenpox or rubella if you are immune or have symptoms of infection. Counsel your doctor, do not go to the appointment without calling first.
  • Depression or severe anxiety. If you feel a deep sadness or despair, have panic attacks, you can not fulfill your daily responsibilities, or think about harming yourself, call your doctor immediately for help.
  • Have any health problems that usually call it by your doctor, even if not related to pregnancy (eg: your asthma or your cold worse, instead of better, it gets worse).

Your body is changing so fast that it is sometimes difficult to decide if what you get is "normal" or not. If you are unsure of the severity of a symptom, if you do not feel as usual, or if you're worried about something, trust your instincts and call your doctor. If there is a problem, get help immediately. If all is well, you'll be more relaxed.

Finally, if it is near the time of delivery , check out the signs that will start labor . That way you will know and recognize when you call your doctor or midwife to time.
